The young Marathi man Kjiva (केजीवा) known as American Marathi emcee
rapper represent Marathi music in urban sense. He represent MARASTA hip
hop as major hip hop/rap culture in Marathi young generation who live in
USA, for one who lost interest in Marathi music.
Now this Marasta genre of new hip hop get spread on
bay area of USA, it influences the gangsta life style of Marathi people
in Maharashtra. The young Kjiva started effort to established this music
genre in Albany New York internationally. This music genre is based on
rap/rnb/hip hop freestyle. This is the first time when real hip hop get
introduced in Marathi.
